We measure lumens, beam patterns, CCT/CRI/tint, and thermal behavior; verify USB‑C PD and battery claims; and then prove the plan outside—rain, cold, altitude, and group sizes from solo to basecamp. Recommendations include runtime graphs, power budgets, and practical mounting/diffusion to eliminate glare and spill.

Independence is non‑negotiable. We don’t sell placement, don’t allow pre‑publication review, and disclose affiliate links. When products change, we retest and update.
