About Us

Mission Statement

To design and validate camping-light systems that are efficient, comfortable, and dark‑sky‑respectful—so every trip, from ultralight overnights to RV basecamps, gets the right light in the right place for the right amount of time.

Our Brand Story

Camp Crew Lighting began with a simple frustration: great lights, used poorly, still create bad nights. We saw campers juggling mismatched lumens, harsh tints, and batteries that died on night two. So we flipped the script—test and recommend lighting as coordinated kits, not one-off gadgets. Every review asks, “How does this piece fit the system?”

We pair hands-on reviews with campsite lighting plans, runtime calculators, and power budgets, then validate them in real conditions—rain, cold, wind, solo treks, family weekends, and big-group basecamps. The result is calmer, cozier campsites, clear skies, happier neighbors, and trips that end with power to spare.

What We Do

  • Build trip- and group-specific kits that layer headlamps, area lanterns, task and path lights with matched beam patterns and warm/amber/red options.
  • Publish runtime graphs, CCT/CRI/tint measurements, beamshots, and photometrics in a system context.
  • Provide power plans: mAh calculators, USB‑C PD guidance, 18650/21700 cell strategies, solar sizing, and weather contingencies.
  • Share etiquette-first, dark-sky practices—shielding, dimming, and directional beams that keep light on-site.

Our Team (Author Personas)

  • The Systems Designer: Turns trip goals into layered lighting layouts and mounting plans.
  • The Field Lead: Stress-tests gear through cold, rain, elevation, and group dynamics.
  • The Power Analyst: Builds runtime models, standardizes charging, and verifies PD behavior.
  • The Night Sky Steward: Ensures warm/amber/red modes, shielding, and low-glare choices protect neighbors and stars.
  • The Family/Education Advisor: Adapts kits for kids, night programs, and safety without light pollution.

Together, we publish design-first, conservation-aware guidance you can trust—because your best nights deserve better light and a darker sky.
